Kenya Establishes Its First Drone Air Corridor
The Kenya Civil Aviation Authority (KCAA) has officially approved the
establishment of the Konza National Drone Corridor—Kenya’s first controlled
airspace dedicated to Beyond Visual Line of Sight (BVLOS) drone operations. The
landmark approval, granted on July 9,
2025, marks a significant step in integrating unmanned aerial systems (UAS)
into Kenya’s airspace in a regulated and forward-looking manner.
