Egypt Takes Step Toward Training Autonomy with Locally-Made Flight Simulators
In a move to
strengthen Egypt’s aviation sector, Minister of Civil Aviation Dr. Sameh
El-Hefny and Major General Engineer Mokhtar Abdel Latif, Chairman of the Arab
Organization for Industrialization (AOI), oversaw the signing of a cooperation
protocol on May 7, 2025. The agreement, concluded between the Egyptian Aviation
Academy Holding Company and AOI’s Electronics Factory, sets the stage for the
local development of advanced flight simulators and a state-of-the-art training
system for aviation professionals.
