TAAG Angola Airlines Eyes Porto Comeback After Five-Year Hiatus
After a five-year absence, TAAG Angola Airlines is actively exploring the resumption of its Luanda–Porto service, a route that was suspended in 2020 at the height of the COVID-19 pandemic. In an interview with Portuguese media outlet TNews, TAAG CEO Nelson Oliveira confirmed that a feasibility study is currently underway to evaluate the potential reinstatement of the route. “Porto has always been a strong performer for TAAG,” he said. “We already have operational infrastructure in place there, and travel agencies confirm there is still market demand.
