Nigeria Court Admits Appeal Judgment Affirming AMCON Receivership of Arik Air
A Nigerian court has upheld the
legality of the Asset Management Corporation of Nigeria’s (AMCON) receivership
of Arik Air, marking the latest development in a long-running legal dispute
over the country’s once largest airline as a fraud trial involving former AMCON
officials continues. The evidence was tendered during the June 25
cross-examination of an Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC)
witness.
