On August 5, 2025, the Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA) suspended two ValueJet pilots—Captain Oluranti Ogoyi and First Officer Ivan Oloba—for a serious violation of aviation safety procedures at the Domestic Terminal of Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport in Abuja.
