Kolwezi Crash (DRC): Airjet Confirms Total Loss of ERJ-145, All Passengers Unharmed
An Airjet Angola Embraer ERJ-145 was completely destroyed on 17 November 2025 in Kolwezi, Kolwezi, a mining hub located in Lualaba Province, southern Democratic Republic of Congo, after touching down before the displaced threshold and veering off the usable runway surface before catching fire. All 29 occupants evacuated safely without injuries.
