Kinshasa Vows Congo Airways Relauch with Three Aircraft, Including an A319, by End of 2024
Congo Airways is set to receive its first new aircraft between November 6 and 7, 2024, marking a significant milestone in the airline's efforts to resume operations,which were halted since mid-July due to the lack of aircraft. This update was provided by the Democratic Republic of Congo’s Minister of Portfolio, Jean-Lucien Bussa, during a briefing in Kinshasa on Monday, October 14, 2024. The event, titled “How to Make the State Portfolio the Backbone of the Congolese Economy,” was co-hosted by Bussa and Minister of Communication and Media, Patrick Muyaya.
