Kenya: EnComm Aviation suspends cargo flights after revocation of ATP aircraft type certificate
According to the British newspaper The
Guardian, BAE Systems has "quietly" asked the UK Civil Aviation
Authority to revoke the type certificate for the Advanced Turbo-Prop (ATP)
aircraft. This has resulted in the suspension of operations by EnComm Aviation,
a Kenyan private airline that uses a fleet of ATPs to transport humanitarian
goods.
