Kenya Airways Eyes Sustainable Aviation Fuel Production by 2030
Kenya Airways (KQ) has announced ambitious plans to begin local
production of Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF) within the next five years as
part of its broader strategy to achieve net-zero carbon emissions by 2050. The
announcement came during the launch of its 2024 Sustainability Report, held on
June 24, 2025, at the airline’s Pride Centre in Nairobi.
