Ghana Urges Domestic Airlines to Cut Fares Amid Cedi’s Strong Appreciation
Ghana’s Minister of Transport, Hon. Joseph Bukari Nikpe, has urged domestic airline operators to reduce airfares in response to the recent appreciation of the Ghanaian cedi against major foreign currencies. He argued that the stronger currency should translate into lower operational costs for airlines, ultimately benefiting passengers.
