FlyWestaf Abandons Plans to Become Algeria's First Low-Cost Airline, Shifts Focus to New Markets
The FlyWestaf project, which aimed to become Algeria's first low-cost airline, has been officially abandoned after two years of unsuccessful efforts. This announcement was made by Emigration Deputy Abdelouahab Yagoubi on his Facebook page on September 16, 2024. In an interview with NewsAero, CEO Chakib Ziani-Cherif provided insight into the company's new direction.
