Egypt Collaborates with ICAO and EU to Advance Sustainable Aviation Fuel Production
The Egyptian government has joined forces with the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) and the European Union (EU) to initiate a feasibility study for the production of Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF) in Egypt. This commitment was made on August 29, 2024, during a meeting between Egyptian Minister of Civil Aviation, Dr. Sameh El-Hefny, and Mohamed Khalifa Rahma, the Director of ICAO’s Air Transport Bureau.
