IATA Study Confirms SAF Potential—But Urgent Infrastructure Gaps Remain
The International Air Transport Association (IATA), in collaboration with Worley Consulting, has released a new study confirming that sufficient sustainable aviation fuel (SAF) feedstock exists to enable the aviation industry to achieve net zero CO₂ emissions by 2050. Importantly, all feedstocks identified meet stringent sustainability standards and avoid land-use changes, removing a key concern in the global transition toward greener aviation.
