Somaliland Secures $70M Deal for Hargeisa Int’l Airport Modernization
The Minister of Civil Aviation
and Airport Development, Fuad Ahmed Nuh, has signed an agreement with
International Maharat Investment for $70 million in funding to modernize
Hargeisa’s Egal International Airport. The signing took place on Tuesday,
September 16, 2025, at the Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC).
