Libya Inks Deal with Terminal Yapı and ERG International to Revamp Tripoli International Airport
Following the turmoil that followed the assassination of Muammar Gaddafi in 2011, the Tripoli International Airport endured severe bombardment, resulting in the destruction of its infrastructure and eventual shutdown. Consequently, the Libyan capital has relied on the military airbase of Mitiga, which has since been repurposed to accommodate commercial flights.
