Lagos Airport : International Runway Reopened After 11 Months of Upgrades
The Runway 18R/36L at Murtala Muhammed
International Airport in Lagos was reopened on February 17, 2024, following
almost 11 months of maintenance repairs. Initially planned for the previous
day, the reopening was rescheduled by 24 hours due to a last-minute issue, as
announced by the Nigerian Airspace Management Agency (NAMA).
