Juba Int’l Airport Successfully Realise Its First Night Operation
Juba International Airport (JIA) has soared to new heights with a
groundbreaking achievement in South Sudan’s aviation history. On the evening of
September 5, 2025, at precisely 10:15 PM, an Air Congo Boeing 737 (9S-AOA ;
MSN 40964) gracefully departed from JIA
en route to the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC), marking the airport’s
first-ever nighttime takeoff.
