DR Congo Revives Kinshasa-N’djili Airport Terminal Project with U.S. Partner
On July 15, 2025, Jean-Pierre Bemba, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister
of Transport, officially unveiled the model for a new terminal at Kinshasa’s
N’djili International Airport. The ambitious modernization project will be led
by U.S.-based architectural firm Skidmore, Owings & Merrill (SOM) in
partnership with Infrarose, with construction scheduled to begin soon and
expected to last 36 months. Completion is targeted for the first quarter
of 2028.
