Conakry and the United States Initiate Talks for Potential Direct Air Link
The Republic of Guinea and the United States have begun formal discussions on the potential launch of a direct air service between Conakry and the United States. On May 28, 2025, Mr. Namory Camara, Director General of Ahmed Sékou Touré International Airport, hosted Ms. Anne Dudte, Chargée d’affaires of the U.S. Embassy in Guinea, for a high-level meeting aimed at exploring the necessary steps for establishing this strategic connection.
