Chad Strengthens Aviation Security with MANPADS Threat Training
The Chadian Civil Aviation Authority (ADAC), in collaboration with the French Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGAC), launched a specialized training program on Monday, February 3, 2025, focused on Man-Portable Air Defense Systems (MANPADS). This initiative, aligned with Annex 17 of the Chicago Convention, aims to strengthen security at Hassan Djamous International Airport against potential surface-to-air missile threats.
