Botswana’s Aviation Sector Achieves Record Revenues Despite Traffic Still at 80% of Pre-COVID Levels

The Civil Aviation Authority of Botswana (CAAB) has announced its highest-ever revenue levels for the 2023/24 financial year, achieving a remarkable 46% growth to P265 million (18.8 million USD) - an historic aviation revenues not seen in the past 16 years. This strong performance underscores the resilience and recovery of the aviation sector following the challenges posed by the COVID-19 pandemic.
