Algiers International Airport Set to Surpass 10 Million Passengers in 2024, Driven by Air Algérie
Passenger traffic at Algiers’ Houari Boumediene International Airport is set to surpass 10 million passengers this year, exceeding previous forecasts. This increase is largely due to diverse promotional offers launched by the national airline, Air Algérie, according to Mokhtar Saïd Mediouni, director general of the Algiers Airport Services and Infrastructure Management Company (SGSIA). Mediouni shared this update on Sunday, June 30, 2024, during a forum at the daily El Moudjahid.
