South Africa Backs Senegal in Bid for FAA Category 1 Classification
As part of its mission to secure a Category 1 aviation safety certification in the FAA's International Aviation Safety Assessment (IASA) audit, Senegal recently hosted a technical assistance delegation led by the South African Civil Aviation Authority (SACAA). This one-week mission aimed to strengthen the capabilities of Senegal's Agence Nationale de l’Aviation Civile et de la Météorologie (ANACIM) to meet the FAA’s stringent safety standards.
