Equatorial Guinea Ratifies Key ICAO Protocols, Marking 100th Ratification Milestone

On August 1, 2024, the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) announced a significant milestone: the Republic of Equatorial Guinea has deposited instruments of ratification for two crucial protocols related to international civil aviation. These protocols, signed in Montréal on October 6, 2016, pertain to amendments to the Convention on International Civil Aviation [Article 50(a)] and [Article 56] , which enshrine expansion of the organization's governing bodies.
