Cameroon Endorses Increase in ICAO's Decision-Making Bodies
On September 5, 2024, Cameroon deposited instruments of accession (deemed ratification) to the Protocol Relating to an Amendment to the Convention on International Civil Aviation [Article 50(a)] and to the Protocol Relating to an Amendment to the Convention on International Civil Aviation [Article 56]. This significant move took place on the sidelines of the 14th Air Navigation Conference held at ICAO's headquarters in Montreal, Canada, from August 26 to September 6. These amendments focus on expanding the membership of the organization’s decision-making bodies.
