ASSA-AC Seeks One-Year Delay for USOAP-CMA Audits of Six Central African States
The Committee of Ministers of the Central African Aviation Safety Oversight Agency (ASSA-AC) has formally requested a deferral of the USOAP-CMA (Universal Safety Oversight Audit Programme—Continuous Monitoring Approach) assessments for the six states within the Economic and Monetary Community of Central Africa (CEMAC) until the year 2026. This appeal was put forth during the agency's sixth ordinary session convened on October 4, 2024, in Douala, the bustling economic hub of Cameroon.
