Simaero Boosts African Aviation with New Embraer E190 Simulator in Johannesburg
Simaero, a global pilot training group, has recently expanded its training capabilities in South Africa by adding an Embraer E190 Full-Flight Simulator (FFS) to its Johannesburg facility. Announced on March 10, 2025, this development strengthens Simaero’s position as a leading aviation training provider in Africa, addressing the growing demand for advanced pilot training solutions in the region. The simulator, relocated from China Southern Airlines’ training center, is expected to be certified by the South African Civil Aviation Authority (SACAA) and operational by the second half of 2025.
