Zimbabwe Ratifies Five Key International Aviation Treaties
Zimbabwe has reinforced its dedication to global aviation safety and security by ratifying and acceding to four key international civil aviation conventions. On August 29, 2024, President Cde. Dr. Emmerson D. Mnangagwa signed the instruments of ratification and accession, following approval by Parliament, in line with Section 327 (2)(a) of the Constitution of Zimbabwe.The official deposition of these instruments took place at the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) headquarters in Montreal, Canada. This development was announced by the Ministry of Transport in a press release issued on September 27, 2024.
