Anticipation Grows as Libya’s Civil Aviation Authority Expects Lifting of EU Ban on Libyan Flights in April 2024

The Director of
the Civil Aviation Authority, Mohammed Shlibek, has recently announced the
optimistic expectation of the European Union lifting the ban on Libyan flights
in April 2024. This development comes as a result of positive outcomes from
international audits assessing the civil aviation infrastructure in Libya.
Shlibek expressed confidence in Libya’s readiness to welcome European flights,
coinciding with the reopening of Tripoli International Airport, according to
The Libya Observer.
