Turkish Airlines Resumes Mombasa Flights After a Five-Year Absence
Turkish Airlines is strengthening its
footprint in Africa with the return of nonstop flights between Istanbul and
Mombasa, Kenya, a route it last operated in 2020. Starting October 26, 2025,
the airline will offer three weekly nonstop flights using Boeing 737 MAX 8
aircraft (With a capacity of 151
seats (16 in business class and 135 in economy). The move marks a significant step in
restoring direct air links between Turkey and Kenya's coastal city. The
airline already operates to Nairobi.
