Towards Resumption of Flights Between Angola and Cape Verde After Nine-Year Suspension
Cape Verde’s Minister of Tourism
and Transport, José Luís Sá Nogueira, and his Angolan counterpart for
Transport, Ricardo de Abreu, announced the “imminent” resumption of flights
between Luanda (Angola) and Praia (Cape Verde). The announcement was made during
a meeting held on the sidelines of the 2nd Ministerial Conference on Tourism
and Air Transport in Africa, jointly organized by the International Civil
Aviation Organization (ICAO) and the United Nations World Tourism Organization
(UNWTO), taking place in Luanda, Angola, from July 22 to 24, 2025.
