Air Sierra Leone (ASL) is set to commence operations on December 2, 2024, as announced by the Minister of Transport and Aviation, Alhaji Fanday Turay, during a press conference on October 12, 2024. The launch of Sierra Leone's new airline marks a significant milestone in the country's aviation sector. Present at the pre-launch event was the Director General of the Sierra Leone Civil Aviation Authority (SLCAA) Madam Musayeroh Barrie.
