South African Airways Plans to Resume Accra–U.S. Route by End of 2026

South African Airways (SAA) has announced its intention to relaunch flights between Accra and the United States by the end of 2026—a strategic move that marks a key milestone in the airline’s post-pandemic recovery and its renewed commitment to long-haul international service. The news was revealed by SAA Chief Executive Officer, Professor John Lamola,  during a dinner with travel industry professionals and Ghanaian media in Accra on Monday, April 7, 2025.
