South Africa : FlySafair Pilot Strike Ends Following Agreement
On August 1, 2025, FlySafair officially announced the end of a two-week
pilot strike that had disrupted a portion of its operations since July 21. The
resolution comes after the airline reached a formal agreement with the trade
union Solidarity, effectively concluding a period of tense negotiations that
were mediated by South Africa’s Commission for Conciliation, Mediation and
Arbitration (CCMA).
