RwandAir is set to expand its regional network with the launch of flights to Zanzibar, Tanzania. Beginning November 30, 2025. The airline will operate four weekly flights on the Kigali–Zanzibar route every Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday, and Sunday. The new service will face no direct competition and makes Zanzibar the airline’s third destination in Tanzania, alongside Kilimanjaro and Dar es Salaam, which are served three times a week on a triangular routing.
