Nigeria’s Green Africa Halts Flights Amid Clash with Lessor ACIA Aero
On March 30, 2025, Green Africa Airways, a Nigerian airline, announced a temporary suspension of its commercial operations. The decision, according to CEO Babawande Afolabi, stems from “a sudden and unexpected development with our aircraft lessor.” Despite efforts to address the issue, the airline stated it “ will not be able to operate until after the Eid-Al-Fitr holidays.”
