Nigeria: Allied Air's Fleet Faces Scrutiny Following Safety Concerns
The Nigerian Safety Investigation Bureau (NSIB) has directed the Nigeria Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA) to thoroughly inspect all aircraft operated by Allied Air following last year’s incident involving one of the airline's Boeing 737-400F aircraft. The directive, issued as part of an immediate safety recommendation, calls for a detailed assessment of potential mechanical and structural vulnerabilities, particularly focusing on the flap and landing gear systems.
