Morocco Secures Safran’s First Airbus LEAP Engine Assembly Line Outside France
On October 13, 2025, French aerospace group Safran strengthened its strategic footprint in Morocco with the signing of agreements to establish a new LEAP engine assembly line for Airbus aircraft and a maintenance, repair, and overhaul (MRO) facility near Casablanca. The ceremony, presided over by His Majesty King Mohammed VI, marks one of the largest expansions by Safran outside France and reinforces Morocco’s role as a growing hub in the global aerospace supply chain.
