Somali Airlines is preparing for a historic return to the skies after a
34-year hiatus, marking a significant milestone in Somalia’s aviation revival.
On July 28, 2025, the Somali Ministry of Transport and Civil Aviation announced
the acquisition of two Airbus A320 aircraft— in order to restart the
airline's operations.
