Mango Airlines’ Revival Derailed as Court Blocks Business Rescue Plan
Mango Airlines, South Africa’s grounded low-cost carrier, has suffered a
major setback in its revival efforts. On June 17, 2025, the Gauteng High Court
in Johannesburg, presided over by Judge Denise Fisher ,
ruled that the airline’s Business Rescue Plan (BRP) is incapable of lawful
implementation, casting serious doubt over its planned return to the skies by
the end of the year.
