LAM Settles IATA Debt and Begins Its Recovery
Mozambique’s national carrier, Linhas Aéreas de Moçambique (LAM), has
cleared its outstanding debt with the International Air Transport Association
(IATA), a significant development that could mark a turning point in the
airline’s troubled recent history. The announcement was made on Tuesday, July 2, by the Institute for the Management of State Holdings (IGEPE), during the
CIPCAST forum, the podcast of the anti-corruption organization (CIP).
