The government of the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) has revived its plan to launch a new national airline, Air Congo SA. Jean-Pierre Bemba Gombo, the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Transport, Roads, and Opening-up, announced this development on Friday, September 20, during the 14th Council of Ministers meeting in September 2024, presided over by President Félix-Antoine Tshisekedi Tshilombo.
