Kenya’s Skyward Express Acquires Refurbished Dash 8-400 from De Havilland Canada
Skyward Express is among the pioneering clients of the Dash 8 acquisition, upgrade, and re-market service unveiled by De Havilland Canada on Monday, July 22, 2024, during the inaugural day of the Farnborough Airshow in the United Kingdom. On that same day, the Kenyan private carrier entered into an agreement to procure a renovated Dash 8-400. The aircraft (MSN 4047) was previously operated by US Horizon Airlines and boasts a 23-year history, NewsAero research reveals.
