Kenya Airways: First Airline to Implement IATA’s I-ASC Light
Kenya Airways (KQ) has been recognized as the first airline globally to
implement the International Air Transport Association’s (IATA) new Aviation
Safety Culture Survey (I-ASC) Light, a tool designed to enhance safety
performance by strengthening safety culture. This was announced by IATA on July
3, 2025. I-ASC enables airlines and other aviation service providers to assess,
benchmark, and improve their safety culture using a standardized, data-driven
approach.
