Ibom Air’s New Airbus A220-300 Debuts Commercial Flights
Ibom Air, the
state-owned carrier of Nigeria’s Akwa Ibom State, marked a milestone on April
29, 2024, as it ushered in its latest addition to the fleet, the brand-new
Airbus A220-300 with registration 5N-CDA, into commercial
service. With a seating capacity of 120 in economy class and 12 in business
class, this new aircraft commenced its inaugural domestic flight from Uyo, the
capital of Akwa Ibom State, to Lagos, Nigeria’s largest city.
