IATA Safety Leadership Charter Now Signed by 14 African Airlines
The IATA Safety Leadership Charter is gaining increasing attention from African airlines. As of now, 14 CEOs from the continent's carriers have signed on, out of a global total of 118 signatories. Willie Walsh, Director General of the International Air Transport Association (IATA), made this known during his opening speech at the 56th Annual General Assembly (AGA) of the African Airlines Association (AFRAA) in Cairo.
