Ghana Sets Up Task Force to Launch New National Airline
In a decisive step toward reestablishing a national airline,
Ghana’s Minister for Transport, Hon. Joseph Nikpe Bukari, officially
inaugurated this May 07, 2025 10-member Task Force to guide the country’s
renewed efforts in the aviation sector. The move, initiated by President John
Dramani Mahama, reflects the government’s intention to restore Ghana’s presence
in global aviation and transform the country into a leading hub in West Africa.
