Airbus has announced the appointment of Gabriel Semelas as President of Airbus for Africa and the Middle East, effective January 1, 2025. This new role comes with significant responsability, as the European manufacturer forecasts a need for 1,460 new commercial aircraft in Africa and 3,740 in the Middle East by 2034.
