FlySafair Wins Temporary Relief in Ownership Compliance Dispute

The Gauteng High Court in Pretoria has granted FlySafair an urgent interdict, halting the enforcement of a January 2026 deadline set by South Africa’s Air Services Licensing Council (ASLC).According to News24, the court made its decision on October 7, 2025, setting aside the ASLC’s deadline after finding that delays in the review process justified interim relief. A full hearing to determine the merits of FlySafair’s case against the regulator is still pending.
