FlyNamibia Appoints Nerine Uys as Acting Managing Director
FlyNamibia has appointed Nerine Uys as its new Acting Managing Director, effective immediately, according to local media reports on January 31, 2025. Uys previously served as the airline’s General Manager of Commercial and has been with the company for four years. She holds an Honours BComm in Management Accounting from the University of Stellenbosch and brings extensive experience from her previous roles in the retail and entrepreneurial sectors. She now succeeds André Compion, who previously served as FlyNamibia’s Managing Director.
